A former Clemson cornerback, Toriano Pride Jr., left spectators in awe at the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. Pride Jr. showcased his exceptional speed by running the 40-yard dash in a record-breaking 4.32 seconds, the fastest time achieved by any position group at the combine so far.
Pride Jr. transferred to Missouri for his final two college seasons, bringing his impressive skills to the Tigers after a successful stint at Clemson. During his time at Clemson from 2022-2023, he demonstrated his versatility with 37 tackles (including 2.0 for loss), nine pass breakups, one sack, one interception, and a safety across 26 games (with three starts). In his final year as a Clemson player, he contributed 14 tackles (one for loss) and five pass breakups in 12 games, including one start.
After transferring to Missouri for the 2024 campaign, Pride Jr. continued his stellar performance, playing in all 13 games for the Mizzou team. He accumulated 22 tackles, two interceptions, six passes defended, one fumble recovery, and a forced fumble. This season, as a senior, he excelled with 24 tackles (1.5 for loss), two interceptions (including a pick-six), a 62-yard fumble return, and six passes defended.
Standing at 5-foot-10 and 185 pounds, Pride Jr. was a highly recruited prospect, ranked among the top 40 in the nation in the 2022 class according to 247Sports.
