The Haunted Mansion has officially reopened at Disneyland after a temporary closure that allowed for the removal of its festive overlay. This beloved dark ride has now returned to its classic presentation, much to the delight of many fans.
As we mentioned back in December, the Disneyland Resort calendar had signaled that the much-adored holiday transformation known as Haunted Mansion Holiday, inspired by "The Nightmare Before Christmas," would be entirely taken down and the attraction restored to its original state by January 23.
We can confirm, following our recent trip to Disneyland, that the ride is indeed back in operation, showcasing its traditional style that guests cherish.
Interestingly, there don’t seem to be any significant updates or modifications made during this latest closure. Just last year, the Haunted Mansion underwent a substantial refurbishment, which included the introduction of several new effects and alterations, with a particular highlight being the addition of a new bride character replacing Constance Hatchaway.
